Day 1: Individual arrival in Rennes

Handover of travel documents and rental bikes (if booked).

Day 2: Rennes - Dinan (approx. 80 km)

After breakfast, you leave Rennes and cycle through idyllic landscapes and along the Canal de la Rance to Dinan. Discover the picturesque charm of Dinan, one of the most beautiful towns in Brittany. Its impressive city walls and medieval quarter bear witness to the town's importance since the Middle Ages.

Day 3: Dinan - Saint-Malo (approx. 36 km)

Beautiful inland Breton scenery accompanies your ride today. After breakfast, you leave Dinan and first follow the towpath along the River Rance, then pass the Abbey of Léhon and continue on to Combourg. Upon arrival in Combourg, a visit to the castle is recommended, where Chateaubriand spent his childhood.

Day 4: Saint-Malo - Le Mont-Saint-Michel - Pontorson (approx. 69 km)

After breakfast, you set off towards Mont-Saint-Michel. Your route follows the English Channel, offering stunning landscapes along the way. A stop at the port of Cancale, a stronghold of oyster farming, is a must to taste fresh oysters. What a magnificent view of this abbey, known worldwide as the "Wonder of the West" and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From Mont-Saint-Michel, you join the La Régalante cycle route, which connects Mont-Saint-Michel with Nantes. Say goodbye to the unforgettable silhouette of Mont-Saint-Michel and follow the cycle path inland through reclaimed polder landscapes. You end the stage in Pontorson, an old medieval town.

Day 5: Pontorson - Fougères (approx. 46 km)

This stage offers green paths and a peaceful, scenic route. Along the way, discover Antrain and Maen Roch, marked by remarkable railway heritage. At the end of the stage, you reach Fougères, where you can visit its medieval fortress, one of the most important in Europe and well worth a longer visit. After parking your bikes, you can stroll through the medieval quarter on foot or relax on a café terrace with breathtaking views of the fortress. You will love this thousand-year-old town.

Day 6: Fougères - Châteaubourg (approx. 50 km)

This stage links two medieval towns symbolic of the historic Marches de Bretagne region: Fougères and Vitré. The cycle path winds through the countryside and past lakes such as Lac de Châtillon and Lac de la Cantache, ideal for a picnic. Like the previous stage, this route is marked by remnants of railway heritage, including former stations in La Selle-en-Luitré and Châtillon-en-Vendelais. A stop in Vitré with its majestic castle is a must - the iconic postcard moment of your ride on La Régalante. Prosperous since the Middle Ages, you cycle through the history of this former trading town with its rich cultural heritage. The route ends in Châteaubourg, where a former mill converted into a hotel, set within 5 hectares of grounds, awaits you for the night.

Day 7: Châteaubourg - Rennes (approx. 20 km)

On this final stage, you can cycle comfortably back to Rennes and enjoy once more everything the city has to offer, from strolling through the streets to buying souvenirs from this beautiful region of Brittany.
