Next, you'll reach Bordighera, famous for its palm trees and romantic seaside promenade. In Imperia, visit the Olive Oil Museum and stroll through the picturesque alleys of Porto Maurizio's old town.

Day 1: Arrival in Nice

Day 2: Nice - Monaco - Ventimiglia, 42 km
Today you will cycle through three countries along the Côte d'Azur. From Nice, you ride to Monaco and then follow the seaside promenade and a former customs path to Cap Martin and Menton. High above the sea, you can visit the Roquebrune Castle with its breathtaking views of the coastline. Afterward, cross the border into Ventimiglia.

Day 3: Ventimiglia - San Remo - Imperia, 49 km
Cycle through the Riviera of Flowers to San Remo, where numerous villas from the Belle Époque still stand. Explore the "Kasbah" of San Remo, a maze of narrow alleys and passageways with an oriental flair in the old town. From San Lorenzo, head slightly inland to the village of Civezza, surrounded by olive groves, before descending to Imperia.

Day 4: Imperia - Cervo - Alassio, 44 km
In the morning, cycle through several coastal towns that transform into bustling hubs during holiday seasons. The hilltop village of Cervo, with its dramatic cliffs plunging into the sea, is a highlight. After Marina di Andora, where sandy beaches reappear, ride inland along the Merula Valley. Climb over the hills of Villalunga before descending back to the coast in Alassio.

Day 5: Alassio - Finale, 44 km
Follow the ancient Via Julia Augusta up to Albenga, where remnants of the Roman road can still be seen. A short inland stretch takes you back to the coast, passing small fishing harbors en route to Finale.

Day 6: Finale - Verezzi - Savona, 34 km
Start the day with a climb to Gorra, then descend to Finalborgo, a charming medieval town with preserved walls and a historic center. Cross a plateau and cycle through a forest to the Ligurian coast at Noli. The route winds along the coast, with ups and downs between villages, before concluding along the seaside promenade in Savona.

Day 7: Savona - Arenzano - Train to Genoa, 24 km
Follow the coastline past popular beaches to Albissola and Varazze, home to an expansive seaside promenade and historic buildings. From here, cycle along a converted railway path nestled between the coast and mountains, through tunnels and over stone bridges to Arenzano. Return rental bikes and travel by train with your luggage to Genoa. For private bikes, luggage transfer to your hotel in Genoa is included.
