Along the River Adige/Etsch, the Adige/Etsch Bike Route follows the old Roman road Via Claudia Augusta for 148 km, from Passo Resia/Reschen Pass, at the border with Austria and Switzerland, to the southern part of South Tyrol through beautiful forests, meadows and orchards.

Val Venosta/Vinschgau cycle path is a real gem with its spectacular nature, the efficient facilities and countless places of interest. Through picturesque vineyards you cycle to Mori. Now, after a short climb of 6 km (90 vertical meters), the Adige Cycle Path takes you to the San Giovani Pass, where you will be rewarded with a fantastic view of Torbole. Enjoy an overnight stay on Lake Garda.

Day 1: Arrival to Nauders
At the hotel you will get your tour book and rental bikes if booked..

Day 2: Nauders - Schlanders (57 km)
You tour will start right at the mountain pass Reschenpass passing by the Lake Reschensee. Afterward you will come to the monastery Marienberg, to the village Glurns and Schlanders.

Day 3: Schlanders - Meran (38 km)
You will follow the Adige River Trail passing by fruit orchards and lovely litte village like Tschirland, Schloss Dornsberg, .. The overnight will be in the well know spa city of Meran.

Day 4: Meran - Bolzano (39 km)
You will follow again the Adige River Trail to Bolzano with it castle Sigmundskron and a wonderful city centre. Take some time to visit e.g. the "Ötzi Museum", churges, ...

Day 5: Bolzano - Trento (61 km)
You keep following the Adige River to the "language border" to the Salurner Klause. Now the main language will be Italian and not German. Overnight will be in the city of Trento.

Day 6: Trento - Riva (53 km)
First you will follow the Adige River Trail and in Rovereto you will cycle over a little mountain pass to Mori and Torbole/Riva next to Lake Garda. Enjoy the wonderful view over the Lake and Mountain scenery.

Day 7: Restay at Lake Garda
Have a swim in the lake or take the boat to see other villages around the Lake Garda

Day 8: Departure, Transfer Riva - Nauders
- Transfers are on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
