This biking vacation is ideal for the untrained cyclist or family cycling as it follows the lake cycleway around Lake Constance. During this cycling tour you will visit three countries, your tour will start in the western region of Austria, soon you will be cycling through Switzerland before progressing across the Lake to Germany and eventually back into Austria.

Day 1: Arrival in Bregenz
Hand out of RENTAL BIKES and information material at the information point.

Day 2: Güttingen (Cycling 59 km /36 miles)
Through the nature reservere Seespitz/Alpenrheinmündung to Rorschach(CH) and your destination for the day.

Day 3: Rielasingen/Singen (Cycling 58 km / 36 miles)
Further on at the Swiss bank past numerous lidos to Kreuzlingen. Along the Lake Untersee to one of the most beautiful small towns in the German-speaking area: Stein am Rhein, Singen and Rielasingen.

Day 4: Schaffhausen Rhine Fall (Cycling 50 km / 31 miles)
On the beautiful CYCLE TRACK you reach Schaffhausen (timber-framed houses, Munot) and the Rheinfall (Europe´s biggest waterfall). Back by bike or train (payable on the spot). Overnight as the day before.

Day 5: Konstanz/Kreuzlingen (Cycling 38 km / 22 miles)
On the peninsula Höri into the Radolfzeller Moos and to the convent island Reichenau, where a roundtrip to the old convent is worth a ride. Further on to your destination for the day

Day 6: Friedrichshafen (Cycling 34 km /21 miles)
Along the lake to the flower island MAINAU; by ship from Wallhausen to Überlingen. Past Birnau, Uhldingen and Meersburg to your destination for the day.

Day 7: Bregenz (Cycling 36 km / 22 miles)
Through the nature reserve Argenmündung - detour to Laimnau recommendable (17 km there and back, flat) - to the island Lindau and further on to Bregenz, your destination for the day.

Day 8: End of the tour
